The company operates in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Norway, North and South America, Asia, and the Pacific Ocean. The company was formerly known as Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA and changed its name to Voim ASA in June 2026. Voim ASA was incorporated in 2002 and is headquartered in Oslo, Norway.
