It has a license agreement with Oxford University Innovation for the development and commercialization of products with thermo-responsive adjuvant scaffolds; and U.S. National Institutes of Health for the evaluation of synthetic and polymer-based vaccine technology to prevent infectious disease and treat cancer in animal models. The company was formerly known as Vaccitech plc and changed its name to Barinthus Biotherapeutics plc in November 2023.
