In addition, it manufactures ground defense systems, such as rocket launchers, variants, and configurations; firing subsystem, reconnaissance and data subsystem, command and control system, and logistic support subsystem; and military equipment, including engineering equipment, self-propelled howitzers, and armored vehicles. The company was founded in 1953 and is headquartered in Bacau, Romania. Aerostar S.A. is a subsidiary of IAROM S.A.
