In addition, the company provides quartz tools for use in semiconductor production; analytical instrumentation for gas chromatography systems; and LC related products, such as valves, degassers, pumps, and related products, as well as engages in the automated recognition business. The company was formerly known as gas Chromatography Industrial Co., Ltd. and changed its name to GL Sciences Inc. in October 1990.
